My 10 yr old Doberman gets excited when he knows Melissa is coming to walk him. Melissa is attentive to his senior needs. She treats him with nothing but love. She sends photos of their walk and briefs me at drop-off on how the walk went. She is always on time for pick-up/drop-off and is willing to accommodate a last minute request if her time permits. She is wonderful 😊 I trust her completely with my senior boy.

Melissa is fabulous. I have 3 very friendly and people oriented cats. I was looking for someone who will play with the boys and give them lots of cuddles. Melissa did exactly this, each day she visited at about the same time (cats love routine) and then sent me pictures and stories of their adventures. She got to know each of their personalities and made sure no one was left out. The boys were settled and relaxed when I got home proving that things were as good as I imagined. I have re-booked and I’m glad I have found someone who fits in so well with our little family.

My dog, Boy George, gives Woof & Purr 4 paws WAY UP! Woof & Purr's Melissa is a diamond in the rough! Since moving to Vancouver in 2015, I have found it challenging to find a trustworthy and reliable dog walker. Melissa is more than that. She goes above and beyond to give my dog a great walk that includes stimulation and training. I know I can count on her to be there for my pup when I can't be. **Bonus: She takes great photos and tells wonderful stories of my little buddy's adventure!

I was overwhelmed as a first time dog owner and needed help! My pup Kobe is a Shiba Inu and it's known to be a challenging breed. I took a puppy class but working full-time, in back to back meetings all day didn't leave much time to practice. I hired Woof & Purr to do training reinforcement and leash training with Kobe. Now Kobe sits and lays down on command, his leash pulling has reduced and now we're working on his recall skills. I highly recommend Woof & Purr for training reinforcement and dog walks. Melissa, you're a life saver! Thank you from Jamie & Kobe the pup.
Bam Bam is a “pandemic dog” meaning that he was used to spend a lot of time with us and get lots of attention during his first 2 years. Our pain point was leaving him at daycare while we work. He started suffering from separation anxiety and stressing us out to leave him.

Woof & Purr was the magic solution! Bam Bam gets personalized attention, has lots of fun, meets new friends and even learns new tricks!

For the first time in 2 years we saw Bam Bam being very excited about leaving us and ready to spend his day away from us. This is priceless for us: we have peace of mind now, because we know he couldn’t be in better hands. Also we get photos of his activities during the day, so we feel connected to him. 🙂

I had a great experience with Woof & Purr. Melissa has a deep love for animals, which showed when she did some cat sitting for me recently while I was away visiting family. I have an elderly cat that needs medication by mouth twice a day, and he's so grumpy that there are certain boarding places that won't take him! My little senior citizen was happy under her care, getting the food, pats and medication he needed while I was away in the comfort of his own home, free of the stress of being moved around, hearing and seeing other animals, etc. My cat was very well adjusted when I got home...I think he didn't even know I was gone! I'd hire Woof & Purr for cat sitting again, and would highly recommend their services to other cat owners who don't want to put their cat through the stress of boarding.
